Substack provides me a place to combine my blog, newsletter, email list, and podcast, with free and paid support, all-in-one, with discoverability to share my creations with a larger audience. Plus, you will have the ability to opt out of email notifications altogether if you’d like (I, too, hate spam), and pop back in whenever you want. I will be closing down my Patreon, so kindly consider becoming a monthly paid subscriber or Founding Member to my Substack instead :)

This is a place for me to creatively express myself and connect more deeply with you on my personal musings on life, love, and tech.

I imagine that over the past decade plus, you may have seen me interview and work with some of this generation’s top creators, from Now You Know to The Nicki Sun Show. If you’ve ever wondered why I selected certain people (because it’s never random) or how I did it, this space aims to share my process with you. And there are so many stories I cannot wait to share!

Simultaneously, I have kept most of my personal life, private, especially when it comes to dating while pursuing my ambitions. Kindly cue Sabrina Carpenter’s “Please Please Please” song to “I beg you, don’t embarrass me, motherf*cker, ohhhhhh.” But now that I have found my person and the JOMO (Joy Of Missing Out) I feel having moved from L.A. to the O.C., I feel it quite safe and naturally healing to share some of the most joyful parts in finding love. And maybe sharing this aspect of my life may encourage or inspire my fellow working entrepreneurs, especially women, that you truly can pursue both a career and a great love (if you desire to!).

Everyone sees the highlight reels and highest moments achieved on social media. And while I am all about celebrating wins, no matter how big or small, I also want to be REAL in sharing the amount of tries, takes, struggles, challenges, or low points behind these wins. And sometimes, maybe they’re not wins at all. And I want to write justice to these aspects of my life.

So I’ve created this space to share my innermost thoughts, but I also want to encourage dialogue between you, my readers, my Sunshines. Ask questions. Share your insight. I want to feature your questions in an upcoming “Dear Nicki” column or dedicated segments on my personal “Behind the Scenes with Nicki Sun” podcast. You truly never know who you could be helping in a moment of need.
